Artist/Craftperson: Rae Westveer

I am a Native Montanan born in Great Falls and grew up in Cascade.  I attended college in Missoula graduating with a degree in Psychology.  I am married to my understanding husband, Mark and we have two wonderful children.  I was first introduced to polymer clay in 1988 while visiting Mark's friend.  I watched while his wife handmade these beautiful rocking horse tree ornaments out of clay.  When I returned to Montana I purchased my own polymer clay and became addicted to its unique qualities.  I loved the immediacy, versatility and accesibility of it.  I began to sell my creations at small shows to start with, now I travel all over the Northwest selling my creations.  My hobby has quickly become my occupation.
